  • Aradigm Corporation

    • Action #19-040363 / Appointment: Liquidating Trustee / Northern District of California – Judge William J. Lafferty, III

    • The Liquidating Trustee was appointed under the Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization for a pharmaceutical company focused on products for the treatment and prevention of severe respiratory disease. The assets were sold pre-Plan Confirmation and the cash on hand available for the Trust. The majority of funds would come to the Trust through Milestone payments in 3 – 5 years.

    • Chapter 11 Plan for Palmer Riedel with Susan L Uecker as Reorganization Agent.  The estate included a residence located at 977 4th Street in Lafayette, California which sold for $1,258,000, artwork valued at $86,748, stock sale netting $61,794 jewelry, annuity accounts, and bank account. A property located in Bermuda Dunes, California was surrendered, a vehicle was abandoned. Liquidation is pending.

  • In re: Mortgage Fund ’08 LLC

    • Susan L. Uecker, Liquidating Trustee, under the Chapter 11 Liquidating Plan for the MF’08 Liquidating Trust. The case has 397 allowed Class 2 General Unsecured claims in excess of $80 million. The pre-confirmation allowed administrative priority, priority tax claim and convenience claims were paid in full. 

    • The Trustee obtained a $7,229,147.01 judgment against The Mortgage Fund, LLC, Walter Ng and Kelly Ng.  The Trustee also obtained the Ng residence located at 13 Virginia Drive, Orinda, California. The property was marketed and sold for $3,345,000.

    • The Trustee worked with a commercial broker for national exposure of the sale of a $67 million  land loan portfolio with property  located in California, Idaho, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. The Trust foreclosed on three (3) San Francisco, CA properties which sold for over $4.4 million and one (1) property in South Carolina that closed at $2,750,000.
